My name is Arianna, and I am the Computer Science Program Director at a non-profit organization called the Science Mentorship Institute (sci-MI), an organization founded by college students to provide <b>free research mentorship and bridge the gap between science/research
engagement and high school students in vulnerable communities</b>. I'm reaching out to you about volunteer opportunities at sci-MI for science research mentorship programs for high school students. We are made up of graduate students, recent college graduates,

We are debuting a new <b>Computer Science Research Mentorship Program for Summer 2024</b> and are looking for motivated, passionate individuals to help us develop this program and make it a success. We are looking for the following positions, anticipating around <b>5
hour/week commitment</b> through the Fall 2023/Spring 2024 Semesters. Each position will develop didactic content (including lectures, Canvas modules, and journal clubs) about their area of expertise as well as computer science research in general.<o:p></o:p></p>
