The Bioinformatics Laboratory has opportunities for graduate thesis research.

Internships are available for highly qualified undergraduate students who are interested in pursuing a graduate degree and completing a thesis in the area of bioinformatics.

Bioinformatics combines biological and computational research to enhance the scientific understanding of life, including how and why diseases like cancer and diabetes appear and progress. Our bioinformatics research projects have produced new software tools to analyze genomic data, creating a downstream effect on numerous areas of science and medicine.
