Hi all, We at NYC Parks Natural Resources Group are in the middle of designing a restoration for a park on Jamaica Bay and we would like to create nesting habitat as part of the restoration. We do see however that there are raccoons on-site now and are concerned about predation. Would anyone be interested in helping us think through strategies we could pursue to protect nests or other ideas for how to create nesting habitat in the context of a very high raccoon population? An hour virtual call would be helpful for us.
