[Dtwg] [External] season's first dbt nest in NY

Hi all,

First nesters were sighted over the weekend on Sunday, nothing yesterday, but 4 sighted today on nesting habitat, with an additional 7 on the roads.

Also saw two nesting in Long Neck, Delaware on Sunday 5/26. Thanks!

We have our first 2 terrapins at JFK Intl. Airport today.  First time we’ve had nesting in May (albeit the very end of the month).

Coastal Bays received our first nest reports May 27 – four on one property. Thank you John for your help with turtle cover as we made them and folks are grabbing them this week!

We just gotten a report of our first dbt nest here in Jamaica Bay, NY!  Quite early for us.

The last report I saw from southern colleagues was 12 May in VA.  No nesting in MD or NJ yet?
