I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to let everyone know, and ask that you help spread the word that we, the Turtle Survival Alliance and IUCN/SSC Tortoise and Freshwater Turtle Specialist Group, have extended the deadline for abstract submission for the 21st Annual Symposium on the Conservation & Biology of Tortoises & Freshwater Turtles, July 31-August 3, 2023, in Charleston, South Carolina. We received numerous requests to submit an abstract after the original due date of April 24, 2023. Abstracts will now be accepted until 11:59 PDT, Tuesday, May 9, 2023.

This is a great opportunity to showcase your efforts on behalf of Diamondback Terrapin conservation with the greater chelonian conservation community.
