Things are very slow in the middle Chesapeake too. Females did not have shelled eggs as of Friday. It’s been overcast and cool and the water temp just broke 65 here. I think nesting is at least a week off. We will start looking tomorrow though.

Walked my favorite nesting beach here in Williamsburg this morning. No heads in the water, no crawls, no nests yet. We had a dreary, cool week leading up to this weekend. Higher temps coming. It "feels" like terps should be nesting. On the freshwater side, I've been seeing painted turtles nesting the last 10 days.
