[Dtwg] Southeast Regional DTWG Virtual Meeting Announcement

Greetings,


The Southeast Region of the Diamondback Terrapin Working Group will be holding a virtual meeting on Friday, November 5th at 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. This meeting will be hosted on Zoom courtesy of Turtle Survival Alliance.


All DTWG members and project/program-affiliated students, research technicians, and collaborators are welcome to attend. The content of this meeting will be restricted to annual project and program updates and the sharing of research, conservation, outreach, and significant findings from the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.


The meeting will run in symposium format with an introduction, oral presentations and Q&A, and final comments. Please find the Call for Abstracts and Submission Guidelines, Zoom Invitation Link, and Promotion attached. The abstract submission link can be found in the attached document. A program and further instructions will be sent out to the DTWG Listserv following the Monday, October 11, 2021 deadline for abstract submission.


We encourage you to forward this email to those at colleges and universities, zoological institutions, nonprofits, and citizen-scientists who work with Diamondback Terrapins in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
