[Dtwg] tracking terrapins

A recently met new colleague (Ned Horning <horning at amnh.org) is trying to develop a relatively inexpensive open source tracking device specifically for terrapins, using the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and transmitting those coordinates using a Long Range (LoRa) and a Low-Power Wide-Area Network (LPWAN) radio system.

They are looking are looking for collaborators with the following expertise: 1) LoRa and Arduino application development, 2) Designing low-power microcontroller boards, 3) Using servers for storing and displaying position and sensor data.
