<p><b>2. SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY -- for LGBT and Allies. </b>Please read below and pass along the word...it sounds like a fantastic opportunity. I am sure you would have some faculty and administrator support in looking over your application, discussing your
proposed project, etc., before submitting. We also have connections with a full-time employee with the national Human Rights Commission (HRC) here in Athens that potentially could also provide some support...but the deadline is in a couple of weeks.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">AT&T* is working with the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) to help the next generation of LGBT and allied leaders continue the fight for equality with AT&T’s first-ever Live Proud on Campus campaign.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">The campaign calls on college students 18 and over to submit a video pitch describing an LGBT-supportive project they’d like to see in place at their schools. The public will vote on fifteen semi-finalist
videos to choose six finalists, and HRC will choose three winners.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">HRC, the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer civil rights organization, will select 3 grand prize winners.</span></p>
