[OU Dems] Minutes Week 2

Happy week 2 everyone! Here are your minutes from this weeks meeting:


Events:

Wednesday 1/22: We will be having date auction committee at 8pm and the location is still to be announced. This is a planning meeting for date auction so bring theme ideas!
Thursday 1/23: We will having a trash for cash at 6pm at Riverpark meeting at building 38. This is a fundraiser for relay for life so please come if you can so we can raise money for a great cause! 

Monday1/27: We will be getting signature for freedom to Marry so we can close out Athens county from 11am-1pm and meeting at the front room. Stop by whenever you're free. 
Tuesday 1/28:  The Scott Wharton fundraiser will be at the OU Inn at 6:30 pm. There will be rides given at the top of Baker at 6:15 and free food! Dress is business casual. 


Updates:

We are doing soccer as our intramural and the time is to still be announced. Please sign up at: https://www.imleagues.com/Registration.aspx . Once you have created an account and verified it, please log on and join the team Trotting Donkeys that is under coed recreational.


Roundtable:

Wednesday 1/22: Fuck Rape Culture's meeting  will be from 6-7 in the LGBT center in baker.

Saturday 1/25: Bill Safranek will be giving rides in order to get signatures for Greg howard to get him on the ballet for the 6th congressional district of Ohio. You'd be leaving Athens around 9:30 am. To arrange rides, please contact him at 740-592-5025. 

Feb. 13-15: The Vagina monologues will take place in baker theater at 8pm and entry is $6 and all proceeds goes to my sister's place.  


Girl Scout Cookies are $4 and will be delivered after spring break. If you would like to order them contact Jake Fenzl (614-315-8106) or Hailey Butterfield (614-980-5010). They have the same flavors as last year. Orders are due Friday and money is due Monday.
 
If anyone is missing glasses who went on the DC trip, please contact Caitlin Roberts.
