Happy Week 3 Everyone!

Here are the minutes from this week’s meeting:
Events:
Thursday 1/31: Date Auction Committee will be meeting at 8pm at 320 Palmer Place! We will be starting on crafting decorations, but you don’t have to be creative to participate! FILL OUT YOUR Questionnaires AND VISIT THE BUSINESSES YOU SIGNED UP FOR! Date Auction will be on March 14th.

Sunday 2/3: Our movie series will be continuing at 4pm in Bentley 023. We will be watching Casino Jack, a Citizen’s United viewing!

Sunday 2/3: Trash for Cash! We will be doing a trash for cash at the University Commons. Rides will be provided from the top of Baker at 2pm.

Friday 2/15: FLIP CUP TOURNAMENT! We will be holding our annual flip cup tournament to raise money for Relay for Life! $5 per person with teams of 5-6, and the theme is Album Titles! Or a song. Or anything really. But aim for and Album theme!  It will be held at 67 W Washington Street. Contact me for any questions.

Friday 2/21- Sunday 2/23: DC Trip! We will be going on our annual DC trip on the dated weekend! We will sight see, explore, and have fun bonding as a chapter! The price of the trip should be cheaper because we will be staying for less days than on past trips (the cost of the trip being paid to College Dems will cover gas and hotel).

ROUNDTABLE:
Delta Zeta sorority will be having their informal recruitment February 4th and 6th (a Monday and Wednesday) from 7-8:30pm at their sorority house on 55 Mill! If you’re interested in rushing, contact Caitlin Roberts.

Sex Week will be held from February 11-15th! Check Baker Center for Details!

An environmental sustainability English class hosts film screenings primarily based on environmental issues every Monday at 6:30 in Ellis 214!

OU Student Union meets every Thursday in Baker 231! They promote tuition issues, put on protest events, petitions, etc.

Dodgeball tournament for the Aviation Flight Team will be on February 7th! $5 per person, contact me for additional details.

Nick Tuell, the former president of College Democrats, is looking for a place to sublease for summer and fall 2013. Please contact me with anything you may know of!

OUCD Elections update:



Nominations will be Week 6, two weeks before  spring break.  You can be nominated by yourself, an executive board member, or another member! The positions up for running include: President, Vice President, Communications Director, Membership Director, Secretary, and Treasurer.



In order be eligible to vote/run you must have been a member the previous semester, attended 3 meetings, and 8 events (3 of those can be meetings). If you have questions in regards to your eligibility, contact Jack.



Elections will be held Week 7, February 26th.
