[OU Dems] OUCD/ Students for Obama Meeting Week 9 Minutes

Happy Week 9 Everyone!
Here are the minutes from this week’s meeting:
Events:
Wednesday 10/24: Pat Lang and Steve Stivers Debate! It will be in Lancaster (about 45 minutes away) and we will be leaving Baker at 6:45

Wednesday 10/24: LGBT FOR OBAMA! Will be meeting in Ellis 214 at 5pm

Wednesday 10/24 & Friday 10/26: Early Voting Storm! We're encouraging on campus students to early vote this election! We will be going around East & West Green at 2/4/6pm on Wednesday and all the doors that are left on Friday at 12/2/4/6!!

Thursday 10/25: Pat Lang phone bank! It will be in Pat Lang's office at 8 N. Court, the third floor, from 1-4!

Friday 10/26: Skindell/ Lang Gathering at 3pm! This will be in Scripps 111 and other candidates will be there too!

Sunday 10/28: GOTV CANVASS! We will be canvassing to push out early voting this Sunday at 9:30, 1, & 4:30. Please attend at least one canvass shift!

Monday 10/29: Senator Sherrod Brown will be coming to Ohio University! He will be speaking at Scripps Amphitheater at either 12 or 1 so be there if you don't have class!

Monday 10/29 & Tuesday 10/30: ODP Phone Banking! It will be from 2-8 on both days and It will be in Pat Lang's office at 8 N. Court, the third floor

Monday 10/29: Chalking and Flyering! We will meet at Front Room coffee at 8pm

Our Next OUCD/ Student's for Obama meeting will be Tuesday 8pm in Baker 231!

Roundtable:
Sign up for GOTV Shifts (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday of election week, Tuesday being Election Day) and get people to the polls!
Hillel is doing a Got Swabbed even on Monday, November 5th from 10-5. More Details to come, but you can be paired with a Bone Marrow recipient and save a life!
If you or your friends are having an issue early voting and the Board of Elections is giving someone a difficult time, contact Nick or Marika!
