Hey Dems!
Hope everyone is enjoying their summer and time off. However, it's never
too early to start thinking about the fall and ways to get involved with
some campaigns. Below is information about internships with Lt. Governor
Lee Fisher's campaign for Senate. The 2010 primaries will be a great
opportunity to get involved in critical campaigns so make sure you consider!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Lee Fisher's U.S. Senate campaign is looking for bright, motivated
undergraduate and graduate students for our Summer and Fall Internship
Program. Interns will have a great opportunity to take on a leadership role
in the campaign and learn more about the election process. The program is
intended to provide knowledge, skills and experience that each intern can
apply to future challenges and professional pursuits.
There are many exciting internship positions available in the following
areas: Communications, Field Organizing, Finance, IT, Operations, Political
and Research. Internships are unpaid, but hours and scheduling are
flexible. Generally, interns are asked to commit between 20 and 25+ hours
per week to the campaign. School credit is available if offered by
applicant's university or college. Those interested in applying can contact
Alex Duncan via E-mail at: alex at fisherforohio.com or by phone at:
614-299-9630.
