May - Aug: Ohio Alumni Softball Team
Come out and play Ohio Alumni Softball, in the Capital Alumni Network league. This will be a spring/summer season played May through August with a 14-game regular season and a post season tournament.

Ohio Drive/West Potomac Park, DC (Regular Season)
Goddard Space Flight Center, Laurel, MD (Tournament)

June 10 - Catholic & Notre Dame
June 20 - UCLA
July 8 - Johns Hopkins & Texas

July 29 - Air Force, Boston, & Stanford
Post-Season Tournament:
August 12 & 13
August 19 & 20 (rain date)
The cost is $70 and games will be on both weeknight evenings and on weekends.

May 15: Bobcat Beautification Day
Calling all DC-area Bobcats to join us in giving back to our local community for a day of service with the Carpenter's Shelter in Alexandria. The closest metro to Carpenter's Shelter is Braddock Road (Blue/Yellow).
Join us to help serve lunch that day and with other projects around the shelter. Our volunteers will also be giving a tour of the shelter when we are there.
If you cannot join us that day, please consider giving a donation to help the shelter's mission! The Carpenter's Shelter offers shelter and comprehensive services for children, women, and men experiencing homelessness with the ultimate goal of transitioning those we serve to permanent, sustainable housing.
This will be a joint project for the Nation's Capital Network, EBN-DC, and the Student Senate Network.

June 16: Ohio Golf Scramble
Come out and have a good time as we raise money for our alumni network scholarship that supports a DC-area student attending Ohio University. This event takes place at Pleasant Valley Golf Club in Chantilly, VA
Times
11:30 a.m. — Free driving range/Check-in opens
12:30 p.m. — Putting contest
1:00 p.m. — Shotgun start
6:00 p.m. (approx.) — Post-tournament dinner and awards
Cost
$130 per player
$30 per non player
For Players: Package includes round of golf, cart, driving range, 2 drink tickets, 4 tourney contests, dinner after the tournament, one future free round per player at South Riding & Pleasant Valley Golf Courses, and a goody bag. You can sign up as part of a group or as an individual (and we will pair you up).
For Non Players: Package will include dinner and a goody bag. This option is for those who don't play golf but want to attend.

The format is a 4-person Best Ball Scramble. Prizes are awarded on selected holes for:
Longest Drive
Closest to the Pin (par 3)
Closest to the Pin from the Fairway (par 4)
Mystery Contest(s)
