Good morning Bobcats!

Remember: This Saturday, DC Bobcats are joining the Capital Alumni Network
(CAN) for the annual Wreaths Across America event. We will meet at 8:45AM
on Saturday, December 16th- in front of the Women in Military Service
Memorial-look for the Ohio University flag!

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS (Note: earlier than previous years)
7:00AM: Metro rail opens (system-wide)
7:00AM: ANC Welcome Center Screening Begins
7:45AM: Wreaths Across America Truck Convoy arrives
8:15AM: Opening Ceremoy at the Women in Military Service for American
Memorial
8:30AM: Arlington National Cemetery Gates open
8:45AM: CAN GROUP PHOTO (allow time for crowds to clear/enter; CAN group to
gather)
9:15AM: Wreath laying begins across cemetery
10:30 AM: President William F. Taft Monument Special Wreath Laying (Section
30 optional event).
11:00 AM: President John F. Kennedy Memorial Special Wreath Laying (Section
45 optional event).
11:30 AM: USS Battleship Maine Monument Special Wreath Laying (Section 24
optional event).
12:00 PM: Formal Wreath Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknowns (optional
event).

Please dress to spend all of your time outside, plan accordingly to take
the metro (parking is not available), and we highly recommend bringing
gloves for handling the wreaths. All attendees must go through security
screening before entering the cemetery and bags will be searched. Please
allow ample time for crowded conditions.

Registration is NOT required to participate. Just show up!
