Greetings Bobcats!

We have a busy fall ahead of us and we are excited to get into the Bobcat
spirit! Below are our events for September and a preview of events later
this fall.

*September*

   - *Game Watch, Saturday, September 10, 2:30PM @ Penn Quarter Sports
   Tavern*. Come cheer on the Bobcats versus Kansas with fellow alumni for
   our first game watch this fall. For more information, visit the Facebook

   - *Wine Tasting and Football, Saturday, September 17, 12:00PM-3:00PM @
   WineStyles South Riding* (25031 Riding Plz, Ste 110, Chantilly, VA
   20152). Come on out for an afternoon of wine tasting as well as watch the
   Ohio Bobcats football game versus Tennessee. The establishment is owned and
   operated by a fellow OU alumn and tickets are $20. For tickets visit

   - *Fifth Annual Federal Government Luncheon, Thursday, September 22,
   12:00PM- 1:45PM @ The National Press Club*. Join us at the 5th Annual
   Federal Government Luncheon, sponsored by Squire, Patton, Boggs and Federal
   Policy Group. The luncheon will include a tribute to George V. Voinovich
   and the keynote speaker is U.S. Senator Tom Carper. Mrs. Janet Voinovich
   plans to be in attendance and this will be the final luncheon of President
   Roderick McDavis' tenure so don't miss it! *Tickets are $20 and

We are also looking for some feedback on two items:

   1. Smithsonian Museum Tour <https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RCH835X>: We
   want to gauge the location preference of group members for a tour of the
   Air & Space Museum. If the Chantilly location is chosen and you do not have
   a car, we will provide a forum to coordinate rides on the event page.
   2. December Board Meeting <https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RQLJ7WW>:
   Interested in becoming more active on the Nation's Capital Chapter Board?
   Choose your preferred date for the December Board meeting and watch for
   meeting updates in the coming months!


*Future Fall Events*

This fall, we are planning a number of events to engage DC Bobcats and
their families. We are planning game watches for October and November, a
Halloween party, and a tour of the Air & Space museum. For more
information, watch for email updates and Facebook posts!
