Hello all!

As you schedule for Spring, please be aware of the value of adding one of the ELIP graduate support courses.

In particular, if you are going to be writing your final master's paper with an expectation to graduate this Spring, we often recommend that you take the ELIP 5160 as it provides a bit more structure that keeps you on task. Otherwise, the best of intentions to work only on your own often don't materialize due to so many other demands on your time.

These courses are cr/nc so there is not a pressure to work for a grade. Rather, the course structure allows you to work on your paper with feedback from a trained and experienced writing instructor.

If you are not writing your final capstone research paper, you can take ELIP 5140 simply to support your continued development in writing academic course papers.

Of course, you can see there are other classes that may be of benefit, such as graduate level reading and comprehension, and/or oral communication.
