Eligible participants will be asked to sit in front of a microphone and read aloud a list of Mandarin syllables. Your speech will be recorded onto a sound file. We will also collect information about your age and language background. No personal information will be identified from the file names or the age/language background data.

You should not participate in this study if you are not a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese, or if you have had
any history of speech and hearing disorders.
