Dear OCA Members,
Attached is information on a Cleveland Gestalt Writers Conference scheduled for October 8, 9 & 10th.  Friday night is from 6 to 9 pm and is for anyone wanting to explore journaling as a means of personal growth.  Please encourage clients, friends or professionals to attend.  We will explore utilizing the Gestalt Cycle of Experience as support for the journaling process.

On Saturday and Sunday there are two co occuring tracks.  The Authors' Track is for professionals who are wanting to write and publish a journal article, a chapter in a book, or possibly material in e-book format.  Participants will spend the two days working on writing drafts and receiving support and feedback, with encouragement towards publishing.

The Practitioners' Track will explore the use of journaling as an adjunct to therapy.  Recent research will be reviewed, and different writing prompts with application to specific diagnoses will be  explored.  Participants will also experiment with the use of writing to help cope with the stress of our profession.  Please bring case examples to share as well.
