Hello All. Sharing a research participating request with you.

Dear Students,

I hope this message finds you well. I am a third-year doctoral student in the counseling program at the University of North Texas. My professor Dr. Dalena Dillman Taylor and I are recruiting participants for a research study with the topic
International Versus Domestic Counselor-In-Training Burnout: Unraveling the Role of Loneliness as a Mediator. Counselor burnout is a significant concern within the mental health profession, with potential implications for both counselor educators and client
outcomes. Counselors-in-training are experiencing burnout at increasing rates, with international students at risk due to additional factors they experience while in counseling programs. The purpose of the study is to understand the level of burnout experienced
by international students compared to students born in the United States. This study examines the impact of students' residency status on counselor burnout and explores the role of loneliness in this relationship. Participating in this study will greatly contribute
to the success and relevance of our research. Participation involves completing a brief self-report survey that explores students' perceptions of belongingness, social integration, and feelings of loneliness.
