<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">I am emailing to invite you to participate in Phase 1 of a dissertation-related study to investigate spirituality as a protective factor against counselor empathy fatigue. In this phase, I am examining the relationship
between spiritual transcendence and daily spiritual experiences with counselor empathy fatigue using quantitative measures. This study has been approved by the
<span style="color:black">Institutional Review Board at Ohio University (FY24-160). You will qualify for participation if you meet the following criteria:</span></span><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<ul style="margin-top:0in" type="disc">
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:2.0pt;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">you are 18 years of age or older,</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><o:p></o:p></span></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:2.0pt;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">you have a master’s degree, or higher, related to mental health counseling, and</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><o:p></o:p></span></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:2.0pt;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">you are an actively practicing mental health counselor with a minimum of 15 hours per week of direct one-on-one client contact for the last
six months at least (this includes master’s level clinicians)</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><o:p></o:p></span></li></ul>
