<p class="MsoNormal">I hope you are well. I got an email from NBCC that I wanted to share so others can avail of the NBCC fellowship next year. This year, the fellowship application just opened up. The deadline for submission is Sept 30<sup>th</sup>. Fellowship
awardees will be announced by the end of December 2023. They are starting the program in March of 2024, unlike May/June for us.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">They award fellowships to doctoral <b>and master’s students</b>, so I would encourage all of them to apply. Applicants have to be a citizen or permanent resident to apply. And they have to be interested in serving
<b>underserved</b> populations, which could be adolescents, immigrants/refugees, people with addictions, geriatrics, people living in poverty, other than the usual marginalized populations that we study. The applicant doesn’t have to belong to a minority to
apply. For 2023, they gave out 107 fellowships between doctoral and master’s students!<o:p></o:p></p>
