during the COVID-19 pandemic as a gap which needs to be addressed by the counseling profession. This presentation will seek to provide counselors with definitions and examples of disenfranchised grief. Counselors in attendance will develop an understanding
of disenfranchised grief and how resiliency fostered in an empathic therapeutic environment can mitigate the adverse impact of disenfranchised grief. Lastly, specific interventions will be utilized throughout the presentation to equip participants with skills
