in my research study titled "Becoming A Mental Health Counselor, Permanently or Temporarily:<span class="xxxapple-converted-space"> </span>Examining Potential Barriers for<span class="xxxapple-converted-space"> </span>International Students Enrolled In Mental
Health Counseling Master's Program."<span class="xxxapple-converted-space"> </span>through a semi-structured interview under the supervision of the dissertation chairperson and advisor, Dr. Joe Franco. This dissertation study is about exploring the lived experience
of international students enrolled in mental health counseling master's programs. <span class="xxxapple-converted-space"> </span> <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="xxxmsonormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">To participate, you must (1) be 18 years of age or older, (2) identify as an international mental health counseling master's holding a nonimmigrant F-1 Student visa (3) be or identify as a
part of an underrepresented culture, ethnic, or racial group within a counseling program in the U.S. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="xxxmsonormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">You are invited to participate in two semi-structured interviews. Interviews will take approximately 60 minutes to complete. Your participation will contribute to multicultural competency
and create change for international students enrolled in mental health counseling programs. Results will be made available via publication in a peer-reviewed journal(s) in counseling and/or psychology, conceptual pieces, non-academic papers, and presented
at local, state, national, and/or regional conferences. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
