within the LGBTQ+ community face additional barriers due to discrimination, fear of being “outed” by an abusive partner, and lack of support. Additionally, survivors from the LGBTQ+ may not have access to the same legal protections as heterosexual survivors
when leaving an abusive relationship. This training will explore IPV within LGBTQ+ relationships, the unique challenges and barriers LGBTQ+ survivors face, and the impacts of trauma on survivors. Finally, information on providing culturally-competent services
