<div dir="ltr"><span>The Counselor Education program at Capital University seeks qualified applicants for Counselor Education non-tenure track position at the rank of clinical professor. Specifically, the program is seeking an applicant with either clinical
counseling or school counseling experience professionally and/or academically and the ability to teach general coursework and across both school and clinical mental health tracks.

<span>Requirements:</span><br>
<span></span><br>
<span>An earned doctorate in Counseling or Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP- accredited program OR an earned doctorate in a CORE-accredited doctoral program with employment as a full-time faculty member in a counselor preparation program for
a minimum of one full academic year before July 2013;</span><br>
<span>Experience as a Professional Clinical Mental Health Counselor or Professional School Counselor;</span><br>
<span>Evidence of successful college teaching experience;</span><br>
<span>Professional identity with the counseling profession through membership in professional organizations pertinent to counseling (e.g., ACA, ASCA, NCRE, and/or divisions and/or state equivalents);</span><br>
<span>Licensed or license eligible as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory Credential (LPCC-S) or a Professional School Counselor in Ohio; must obtain within one year;</span><br>
<span>Evidence of ability to teach and work with persons from diverse backgrounds.</span><br>
<span>Preferred Qualifications:</span><br>

<span>Evidence of successful college teaching experience at the graduate level.</span><br>
<span>.Evidence of experience with electronic distance education/online teaching.</span><br>
<span>Evidence of scholarly productivity (e.g. published articles, book chapters, books, and/or professional conference presentations).</span><br>
