is to examine changes in the level of self and others empathic understanding. Empathic understanding is placing oneself imaginatively in another’s experiential world while feeling into his or her own experiences with the aim of comprehending these experiences.
Given the importance of a counselor being able to demonstrate empathic understanding with clients, this study intends to measure changes in empathic understanding in master’s counseling students. In addition, the study intends to examine whether differences
exist between change in levels of empathic understanding for fully online programs and blended programs. </span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
