<p class="MsoNormal">OCA is pleased to announce the 2017-2018 educational and research grants. Please see below for a detailed list of opportunities and application guidelines. We hope that you and/or your students will consider applying for these funding opportunities.

<p class="MsoNormal"><b>In order to qualify for an OCA Grant you: <o:p></o:p></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">- Must be a full time counselor practicing in the state of Ohio or counselor educator in the state of Ohio
<b>OR</b> applicant must be a full-time masters or doctoral student pursuing a degree, license, and career in counseling in the state of Ohio.
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">- Must be a member of the OCA (membership dues current through the sponsored event or conference).<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">- Only students may apply for the student research grant. <o:p>
</o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b>The Grants Committee will consider:<o:p></o:p></b></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Grant consists of $1,500 for conference registration and travel. Receipts must be provided as well as a one-page report of educational, networking, and other events attended within 14 days of return. Four grants will be awarded by September
31, 2017 (Advanced Registration ends 2/15/18).<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b>B) Ten OCA Legislative Advocacy Day Grants</b><br>
April 2018 (date TBD) in downtown Columbus.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt">Grant consists of ten awards of free registration for any OCA member to attend the day of training, advocacy, and education ($20 for students and $45 for professionals).

<p class="MsoNormal"><b>D) Five Tim Luckhaupt AOCC Grants</b><br>
November 8-10, 2017 Hyatt Regency Columbus<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Grant consists of $1,000 for conference registration and travel. Receipts must be provided as well as a one-page report of educational, networking, and other events attended within 14 days of return. Five grants will be awarded by September
30, 2017.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b>E) Five AOCC Leadership Development Institute</b><br>
November 8, 2017 Hyatt Regency Columbus<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Grant consists of $500 for conference registration and travel. Attendance of the LDI and at least one other day of the Conference is required. Article for the OCA Newsletter is required upon completion of the course. Five grants will

<p class="MsoNormal"><b>F) Four OCA Student Research Grants</b><br>
