Qualifications:<br>
Valid and appropriate School Counselor certificate/license from the State of Ohio.<br>
Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, teachers and administrators.<br>
Willingness to work in school sponsored and school related activities.<br>
Demonstrated willingness to meet the needs of all students including special needs students through a variety of professional strategies.<br>
Demonstrated application of Ohio Standards for the School Counseling profession<br>
Demonstrated skills with Google Applications.<br>
Knowledge of End of Course exams and how to calculate graduation points.<br>
Ability to coordinate scholarship and college applications with universities, local organizations, students and parents.<br>
Ability to coordinate high school and college credit plus schedules.<br>
Ability to coordinate activities and programming with career technical school.<br>
Experience in counseling and assisting students for educational, personal, social and related needs.<br>
Experience collaborating with teachers to help students; plan, conduct group guidance activities.<br>
Demonstrated ability to work with the administrative staff and other school personnel in planning, developing and conducting the total guidance program, curriculum study and<br>
research.<br>
Ability to work with parents, individuals and groups in coordinating school and community resources and activities which contribute to high school success and beyond.<br>
Alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate.<br>
Experience working with a culturally diverse student population preferred.<br>
