Guidance/School Counselor.<br>

Ideal candidate must hold proper certification/licensure. Experience in <br>
the following areas is highly recommended:<br>
<br>
. Creating a Master Schedule and scheduling students<br>
. Administration of state mandated testing<br>
. Establishing the school counseling program, including developing activities and resources to implement the program.<br>
. Assisting students in the areas of personal/social growth and educational<br>
planning.<br>
. Consulting with students, parents, teachers, and other school personnel to<br>
assist in meeting the needs of students and working with outside social service agencies.<br>
. Coordinating necessary duties regarding college admissions requirements,<br>
including communication with college admissions and financial aid<br>
departments, hosting parent and student informational meetings, assisting students of varying needs with financial aid opportunities, and assessment of student progress to meet college requirements.<br>
. Transitioning students to the career center<br>
. Possessing the ability to work with a diverse student body.<br>
