The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) is seeking applications for tenured/tenure track faculty in the School of Rehabilitation Services & Counseling to begin fall 2015.<br>
<br>
<strong><span style="font-family:"Lucida Sans Unicode","sans-serif"">QUALIFICATIONS:
</span></strong>Candidates must meet the institutional requirements for tenure to be considered for the position at the rank of Associate Professor/Professor.<br>
<br>
<em><b><span style="font-family:"Lucida Sans Unicode","sans-serif"">Assistant Professor</span></b></em>. Requirements for an Assistant Professor are: (1) a doctorate in Rehabilitation Counseling or a closely related field from an accredited university; (2)
a minimum of 3 years professional work experience in the field with at least 2 years in direct client service; and (3) CRC or CRC eligible.<br>
<br>
<em><b><span style="font-family:"Lucida Sans Unicode","sans-serif"">Associate Professor</span></b></em>. Requirements for Associate Professor are: (1) must have a doctorate in Rehabilitation Counseling or a closely related field from an accredited university
and must already be tenured, (2) must be able to independently lead, conduct and develop education and research activities of a high quality to meet the institutional requirement for the rank of Associate Professor, (3) demonstrate a high degree of teaching
proficiency, record of publication in peer-reviewed journals, and commitment and professional service, (4) demonstrate the ability to seek and obtain external funds to conduct research projects, and (5) CRC or CRC eligible.<br>
<br>
<em><b><span style="font-family:"Lucida Sans Unicode","sans-serif"">Full Professor</span></b></em>. Requirements for Full Professor include beyond those required above: (1) scholarly professional experience demonstrated through an exemplary record of, teaching,
publication in peer-reviewed journals, and external funding to meet the institutional requirement for the rank of Full Professor, and (2) demonstrate a distinguished record of accomplishment that leads to an international or national reputation in the field
of rehabilitation and (3) must be CRC.<br>
