<p class="MsoNormal">I would like to extend my personal thanks to you for forwarding the numerous CACREP Advocacy Week emails that were sent out and also for encouraging your faculty members, students, and graduates to get involved. The advocacy activities
and events that took place in CACREP programs across the country contributed to a successful week and, more importantly, addressed current issues which help to strengthen the counseling profession and move it forward. The voice of CACREP is powered by you
– counselors, counselor educators, and counseling students. Thank you for getting involved to promote your counselor identity.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">In following up with Advocacy Week, CACREP is excited to announce the winner of the 2015 Video Contest that took place during Advocacy Week. We received about twice as many video submissions this year, utilizing a wide range of creative
approaches to develop informational videos about individual counseling programs and what makes counseling different than other helping professions. As a result, we have posted the top 5 videos to
<a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UClfCuLzpPxcHJCVAaKjVW4w">CACREP’s YouTube Channel</a>. The winning video “CACREP & WIU are Right for U!” was submitted by Mary Hogg and Dr. Carrie Alexander-Albritton from Western Illinois University Quad Cities. Links
