Please note since the October 7 message there has been two changes to the program:

<li>The Poster Presentations will now be held on Friday, April 24, 2015.</li>
<li>The International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP) topics to be presented at the conference have changed, and the new updates are included below.</li>

Dear Colleague,<br>
<br>
On behalf of the National Council on Rehabilitation Education (NCRE) I am excited to invite you to the 15th Annual National Rehabilitation Educators Conference in Newport Beach, CA, to be held on April 22-24, 2015.
<br>
<br>
Our 2015 conference is an opportunity for rehabilitation educators, practitioners, researchers, trainers, students and HRD personnel to submit proposals that address state of the art practices and future directions in rehabilitation education and research. Both empirically based (qualitative and quantitative) and conceptually oriented proposals are invited. <br>
<br>
This year’s conference theme <strong><em>“Broadening Our Horizon Through Collaboration: Opening the Box and Talking”</em></strong> encourages proposals focusing on current issues in rehabilitation education, practice and research.<br>
<br>
<strong>The areas of focus include: </strong>
<ol>
<li>Pedagogy: Rehabilitation graduate and undergraduate education</li>
<li>Psychosocial Adjustment: Factors in the development of efficacious and effective clinical rehabilitation practices (Fong, Cardosa, Chronister, 2009)</li>
<li>Evidence-Based Practice and Outcomes in Rehabilitation </li>
<li>Universal Design: Work, Play, and Education</li>
<li>International Rehabilitation: Current, New, and Promising Practices and Relationships </li>
</ol>
NCRE seeks to enrich and broaden the content for the conference. Specifically, we aim to begin broadening and opening our attendee’s exposure to private rehabilitation. The 15th Annual National Council on Rehabilitation Education Conference will feature The International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals.<br>

<li>Methods and Models in Forensics Vocational Assessment – Dr. Rick Robinson</li>
<li>How to Start Part-Time Private Practice For Educators – Dr. Scott Smith <strong>(New Topic)</strong></li>
<li>The Interface Between the Vocational Rehabilitation Process and the Evidentiary <strong>(New Topic)</strong></li>
<li>History and Evolution of Forensic Vocational Rehabilitation Consultation <strong>(New Topic)</strong></li>
<li>Intro to Life Care Planning</li>
<li>Ethics in a Forensic Practice <strong>(New Topic)</strong></li>
</ol>
We have an exciting and engaging conference planned. Our presenters are among the best educators in the rehabilitation profession. They will present concurrent sessions, panel sessions, and poster presentations.<br>

There is a new specific protocol in place for Poster Presentations. Please be aware of this new change to the conference. We are trying to create a richer experience for our attendees.<br>
