The AOCC is seeking proposals for sessions focused on school and clinical/mental health counseling topics. Presenters are encouraged to submit sessions outlining engaging practices that can be easily implemented into one's professional practice. Proposed sessions must be 60 minutes in length and presenters may submit more than one call for proposal. Proposals addressing advanced content are preferred, though all levels are welcome. Lead presenters are encouraged to be a member of OCA and/or OSCA, but membership is not a requirement. The AOCC team is specifically seeking sessions in several areas of interest including:</div>
<ul><li>DSM-V</li><li>Ethics and Supervision for Clinical/Mental Health Counselors</li><li>Intermediate/Advanced Level Counseling Skills/Interventions</li><li>Alternative Treatments (i.e. art therapy, spirituality, holistic wellness, etc.)</li><li>Trauma Informed Care</li><li>Developing a Positive School Climate/Bullying Prevention</li><li>College and Career Readiness/Counseling</li><li>Special Education (IEP/504/IAT) for School Counselors</li><li>Next Generation Assessments and Common Core</li><li>School Counselor Evaluation Strategies</li></ul>
