The initial appointment will be for two years. Expectations include teaching, research, student advisement, college service, and continuing professional development. The School of Education is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). The Department of Educational Psychology, Counseling and Special Education has ten full-time faculty members, offers graduate programs in school counseling and special education, and teaches courses in learning, development and special education for elementary and secondary education majors.
