The individual selected for the position will teach core counseling courses and required statistics and methodology courses and serve as statistician for the doctoral program in counselor education and supervision. <br><br>Requirements for the position include a doctoral degree in counselor education from a regionally accredited university and preferably from a CACREP accredited program; licensure or licensure eligibility as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia; evidence of excellence in teaching; evidence of experience with research methodology and advanced statistical analysis including experience with SPSS; evidence of potential for establishing a successful record of research and publication; experience with diverse populations in a counseling setting; knowledge of CACREP standards; and professional experience in the counseling field. Responsibilities include: teaching the equivalent of three courses each semester at the graduate level in traditional and non-traditional formats; advising doctoral students on methodology and statistical analysis; continuing an active research, publication, and presentation agenda; student advising; serving on department and college committees; and contributing to the university's mission.
