Applicants from related disciplines who </span><br><span>have been employed as a full-time faculty member in a Counselor </span><br><span>Education program for a minimum of one full academic year before July </span><br><span>1, 2013 are also encouraged to apply. </span><br><span></span><br><span>Experience in K-12 school counseling for at least 2 years is required </span><br><span>as is experience working with K-12 students from diverse populations. </span><br><span>Eligibility as a certified school counselor in Missouri is also </span><br><span>required. Experience in University teaching and clinical supervision of </span><br><span>counselors in training is highly desirable. </span><br><span></span><br><span>The individual must be prepared to develop/teach courses in a school </span><br><span>counseling state certification and degree program including supervision </span><br><span>of school counseling practica and internships. This individual will </span><br><span>also be expected to develop and foster working relationships with </span><br><span>school internship sites.</span><br><span></span><br><span>This is a twelve (12) month academic position. Faculty members have </span><br><span>advising and clinical supervision responsibilities, are expected to </span><br><span>teach core counseling courses, engage in professional development, and </span><br><span>other activities to support a counselor identity. In addition, faculty </span><br><span>are expected to participate in department, college, and university </span><br><span>governance activities, and other university events. </span><br><span></span><br><span>Webster University, founded in 1915, is a private, multi-campus and </span><br><span>international institution with academic programs in over 100 locations </span><br><span>in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
