<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:.5in">I am writing to announce the Association for Humanistic Counseling 2012-2013
<u>Make a Difference Grant</u> for graduate student research. The grant supports graduate student research with a humanistic philosophy that will make a difference in the lives of persons in need. The awarding of the grant is based on the humanistic characteristics
and quality of the project as described in the application. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:.5in">The grant award is for <b>$750</b>, plus AHC supported opportunities to promote the project and publicize findings of the research. Honorable mention may be provided for close second ranked finalists as a way to
publicize some of the unfunded, but excellent research in our field. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:.5in">Applications are due <b>January 10, 2013</b>. Winners will be announced in February and the grant will be presented at the 2013 ACA Conference in Cincinnati, OH.
