Responsibilities include scholarly productivity as evidenced by publications in high-quality peer-refereed journals and the pursuit of extramural funding for research, teaching core counseling courses, supervision, and engagement with the community and the profession. Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate a commitment to diversity and equity in education through their scholarship, teaching, and/or engagement.<br> <br>The Purdue School Counseling program received the NBCC Professional Identity Award in 2011 and the NCACES Outstanding Innovative Counselor Education Program Award in 2007. This dynamic program is selective in admissions and has small, full-time cohorts.
