</o:shapelayout></xml><![endif]--></head><body lang=EN-US link=blue vlink=purple><div class=WordSection1><p class=MsoNormal align=center style='text-align:center'><b>Student Scholarships Available for the 6<sup>th</sup> Annual Legislative Advocacy Day<o:p></o:p></b></p><p class=MsoNormal align=center style='text-align:center'><b><o:p> </o:p></b></p><p class=MsoNormal>The members of the Ohio Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (OACES) are pleased to sponsor graduate students to attend the 6<sup>th</sup> Annual Legislative Advocacy Day (LAD), which will be held on May 14, 2012 from 9:30 am - 1:30 pm at the Statehouse Atrium, Columbus. Please see the email below for details about LAD and registration.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>OACES will reimburse the $25 registration fee for 40 graduate students (master’s and doctoral students). Interested students should email their name and which counselor education program / university they are affiliated with to Deborah Issacs (<a href="mailto:disaacs1@kent.edu">disaacs1@kent.edu</a>) by April 15<sup>th</sup>, 2012. Please type in the subject line of the email “LAD Scholarship Application.” Students will be notified by April 22<sup>nd</sup> of their status.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Scholarships will be awarded to those who apply first, though there also will be consideration given to spreading scholarships across universities. Applicants selected to receive a $25 scholarship should register and pay for the LAD (see email below). After students attend LAD, they will receive their $25 reimbursement once they provide evidence of registration.
