Applicant must show evidence of accomplishments or strong potential for success in research, publications, grant writing, and professional service. Experience in K-12 settings with school counseling certification or ability to achieve it is also required. Preferred candidates will show evidence of a multicultural worldview as evidenced by a professional interest in, experience working with, and advocating for underserved populations. Preference will also be given to applicants who show evidence or potential for teaching graduate courses in school counseling and child and adolescence. </span><br><span></span><br><span>Beginning August 22, 2012, this is a nine-month, tenure-track appointment with possibilities of summer employment. </span><br><span></span><br><span>The University of South Dakota is a comprehensive, liberal arts based state institution with an enrollment over 10,000 students.
