Thank you.</span><br><span></span><br><span>Caitlin Reese</span><br><span></span><br><span></span><br><span></span><br><span>Counselors-in-Residence Program</span><br><span></span><br><span>Open Position</span><br><span></span><br><span></span><br><span>Hello Applicant!</span><br><span></span><br><span></span><br><span>I am writing to inform you of an exciting position opening for the</span><br><span>upcoming 2012-2013 school year in the Counselor-in-Residence (CR)</span><br><span>program at Ohio University. The CR program is a collaborative effort</span><br><span>between the department of Residence Life and Counseling and</span><br><span>Psychological Services. The program began 6 years ago and has evolved</span><br><span>over the years, and currently includes the following responsibilities.</span><br><span>CRs are responsible for providing after-hour counseling and crisis</span><br><span>intervention coverage to Ohio University students, and</span><br><span>prevention-based outreach programming on a range of mental health</span><br><span>related topics. The CR program is approximately a 15-hour per week</span><br><span>commitment during the school year, and CRs are nicely compensated with</span><br><span>a free apartment in residential life dormitories and a quarterly</span><br><span>stipend for food. Previous CRs have also said that this program is</span><br><span>also looked at highly by potential employees/internship sites.</span><br><span></span><br><span></span><br><span></span><br><span>To apply for the position, students must have two years of clinical</span><br><span>experience in either counseling, or clinical psychology.
