Teaching load is negotiable and commensurate with an overall emphasis on research productivity.</span><br><span></span><br><span>This position represents an opportunity to play a critical role in enhancing UNT’s reputation as the best school for veterans in Texas and the sixth best school for veterans in the country</span><br><span>(Military Times EDGE, 2010).</span><br><span></span><br><span></span><br><span>Available:</span><br><span>The appointment may begin as early as Fall 2012.</span><br><span></span><br><span>Qualifications:</span><br><span>Candidates must have a doctoral degree from one of the disciplines in the college or a related social or behavioral science discipline and an active record of scholarship in a veteran‐focused area as demonstrated through externally funded research and publications.</span><br><span></span><br><span>The ideal candidate will have a record of externally‐funded interdisciplinary collaboration focused on veteran’s research. He or she will also have a demonstrated ability to internally organize and consolidate researchers.</span><br><span></span><br><span>Salary:</span><br><span>Compensation is competitive and commensurate with rank and record.</span><br><span></span><br><span>About UNT:</span><br><span>UNT is a public research university located in Denton, Texas, 35 miles north of Dallas and Fort Worth.
