<div style="TEXT-ALIGN: center" align=center><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">Pathways of Central Ohio, a fiscally sound and diversely funded employer of choice, seeks a dynamic professional to lead its Prevention Department. Established in 1968, Pathways is a not-for-profit social service organization serving Licking and Knox Counties.</SPAN> </div>
<div style="TEXT-ALIGN: center" align=center><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">Initially known as the Newark Drug Forum, the agency was created to address the growing local drug problem. In 1970, the Crisis Center Hot Line Service started. In the 1980s, the agency expanded to include alcohol and other drug abuse prevention services and began its child care resource and referral program known as Child Care Connections. In the 1990's, the agency began offering parenting training to families, now known as Capable Parents. Pathways was designated the 2-1-1 call center for Licking County in 2007 followed by the same designation for Knox County in 2008. The agency was renamed Pathways of Central Ohio to reflect its service to Knox County.</SPAN> </div>
<div style="TEXT-ALIGN: center" align=center><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">Pathways offers a work environment that maximizes professional growth and performance. Program directors are given the latitude to develop their programs to meet the unmet needs of our community. The work environment at Pathways is casual but very team oriented. The management team meets regularly and collaborates on various projects across programs.</SPAN> </div>
<div style="TEXT-ALIGN: center" align=center><U><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">Job Description</SPAN></U> </div>
<div style="TEXT-ALIGN: center" align=center><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">The Prevention Director's primary responsibilities involve direct supervision of the Prevention staff and management of the program, which delivers services in school and community settings. The Program Director represents the agency on relevant committees and shares data with the community regarding unmet needs and advocates for needed services. </SPAN> </div>
<div style="TEXT-ALIGN: center" align=center><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">Within the scope of work is engaging community partners, motivating community change and participating on local coalitions. In addition, the Prevention Director provides direct service utilizing such curriculums as Prime for Life, Project Alert and LifeSkills. The Prevention Director is also responsible for grant writing, completing reports and evaluating outcomes.</SPAN> </div>
<div style="TEXT-ALIGN: center" align=center><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">The Prevention Department currently employs two other full-time staff and is certified as a Prevention Program by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services and the Ohio Department of Mental Health.</SPAN> </div>
<div style="TEXT-ALIGN: center" align=center><U><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">Qualifications</SPAN></U> </div>
<div style="TEXT-ALIGN: center" align=center><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">-BS/BA degree in social work, education or social sciences required</SPAN> </div>
<div style="TEXT-ALIGN: center" align=center><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">-Registration, certification and/or licensure to supervise prevention services (OCPS, LCDC, CCDC, LPC, LISW, CHES, or RN) required</SPAN> </div>
<div style="TEXT-ALIGN: center" align=center><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">- Three years work experience in the substance abuse prevention field or related prevention field required</SPAN> </div>
<div style="TEXT-ALIGN: center" align=center><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 9pt">-Three years direct supervisory experience required</SPAN> </div>
