As you know, we are having heating issues in McCracken. I have a special issue in my office in 340 and our suite in 338, since the thermostat for them is in 348, the counseling room. Yesterday, the facilities guys were here and adjusted some of the heating elements, including setting the thermostat at 68 so that the heat wouldn’t be blasting into my offices. After they were here, someone used 348, opened the window a good two feet and left it open overnight. When I came in this morning, my office was a steamy 90 degrees. As you can imagine, this makes it incredibly uncomfortable to try to work and necessitated our calling facilities again. I would appreciate your announcing to your faculty and the students who use that room that they need to be more aware and courteous of others. The simplest solution is not to open the window but I’m aware that sometimes there may be a need. In that case, whoever opens the window needs to take the responsibility of closing it. My staff and I would appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thanks<br>
