We enjoy a progressive<br>economy, excellent school systems, a dynamic and stimulating cultural<br>scene, and a vibrant and diverse social life. UVM overlooks beautiful Lake<br>Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains and is 30 minutes from major<br>ski areas, 1.5 hours from Montréal, and 3.5 hours from Boston.<br> <br>Responsibilities will include teaching a broad spectrum of graduate<br>courses, supervising internships, advising students, pursuing a sustained<br>program of scholarship leading to tenure and promotion, professional<br>service, and developing a vigorous sponsored research program. The<br>Program offers a Masters of Science degree and is accredited in Mental<br>Health Counseling and School Counseling.<br> <br>Required Qualifications: Applicants must have an earned doctorate in<br>counselor education, counseling psychology, or a closely related discipline.<br>In addition, the successful candidate must have recent graduate teaching<br>experience, demonstrated interest and promotion of translational/crossdisciplinary<br>research, and an understanding of neural development and<br>brain structure/functioning and its effects on development and school<br>performance.
