Specific work activities will include survey development, data collection, data management, data analysis, preparation of peer-reviewed publications, translation of research findings into training and website materials, and supervision of research assistants.<br> <br>This individual will be expected to design new research studies and develop proposals for external funding.<br> <br>Minimum qualifications for an Assistant Research Professor are a terminal degree in rehabilitation, psychology, special education, sociology, or a related field; evidence of research productivity; two years experience conducting applied research; expertise in data management, quantitative methodology, and statistical analyses; expertise using a variety of software, including spreadsheets and statistical packages, among others; and excellent writing skills.<br> <br>ABD applications will be considered, but candidate must possess their PhD prior to employment start date. To begin as an Associate Research Professor, a successful candidate, in addition to meeting the above criteria, must have consistently demonstrated ability to perform at a level of excellence appropriate for the rank.
