</o:shapelayout></xml><![endif]--></head><body lang=EN-US link=blue vlink=purple><div class=WordSection1><p>The NBCC Foundation scholarship program is designed to increase the availability of counselors in underserved areas, with the current priority areas of rural and military communities.<o:p></o:p></p><p>The rural scholarship increases access to needed counseling services in remote areas, and the military scholarship encourages counselors with military experience to continue serving our nation’s finest.<o:p></o:p></p><p>Five rural scholarships and five military scholarships are available in the amount of $3,000 each.<o:p></o:p></p><p>You may apply for both scholarships, if applicable; however, only one scholarship can be awarded to you while you are pursuing a counseling education.<o:p></o:p></p><p>The Foundation is incredibly proud to support these individuals and is confident that they will make a difference for the population they’ve committed to serve.
