A candidate should have a strong desire and potential for excellence in graduate and undergraduate teaching related to counseling and human services. A record of publications in counselor education and a research agenda is a must. Applicants will be expected to be a generalist covering a variety of courses in the CACREP accredited masters degree programs in school and clinical mental health counseling and will occasionally teach a counseling related undergraduate course.
