Candidates should be at the advanced assistant or associate professor level. The position begins August, 2011. The program has strong faculty, university, and clinical community support.<br><br><b>Required Qualifications:</b> (1) earned doctorate in marriage and family therapy or closely related field; (2) evidence of scholarly productivity, including publications in recognized marriage and family therapy or related journals; (3) successful record of teaching graduate courses and supervising practicum/internship experiences; (4) experience in marriage and family therapy; (5) experience or strong interest in MFT program administration; (6) experience in attracting external funds; (7) demonstrated commitment to working with diverse populations; and (8) eligibility for Iowa Marriage and Family Therapy licensure.<br><br><b>Desirable qualifications:</b> (1) professional experience in MFT graduate program administration; (2) graduation from and/or experience teaching in a COAMFTE graduate program; and (3) experience as a COAMFTE site visitor.<br><br><b>Responsibilities:</b> Duties will include (1) coordinating the MFT doctoral program; (2) teaching courses in MFT and related areas consistent with the candidate's interests and Department needs; (3) conducting an on-going program of research and publication; (4) seeking external funds for research and service.
